Where is My Income: Social Media Management

I purposely placed this chapter after all the graphic design aspects of making money online. It is true that generating income is the bottom line when it comes to most of the ideas created through digital content. It would be rare to see an exception. Unfortunately, the idea is the first step in delivering goods and services to your audience. The next step involves the planning behind the product, the step after that deals with promoting your product, and the final step is to develop new use for your product. There may be other markets that could use your services. With this in mind, I am dedicating this chapter to social media management.

There are numerous ways to handle how your digital content is being used. in fact, if you wish, one could easily make a career out of social media management. This idea goes along with the theories of this book. The down side is this is for another book.

My definition of social media management is defined as the process of developing a system of promoting campaigns across different platforms. I know the definition is a bit complex, but it fits what I am looking to accomplish. I am seeking for the best method to have my content delivered to an audience once it is finished. Thus, the efficiency of which your content is delivered to others is important to the success of your marketing schemes.

At this point you have a general point of view on the direction of your brand. All previous chapters discussed channels of distributing digital content to targeted audiences. This chapter is tailored towards operational strategy. What this  eventually means equates to how to develop methods of delivering a brand, idea, content, and how all of them will offer purpose. The sale is the easy part. This will always be true. Let’s develop how to combine all our efforts to speak to an audience using social media.

Generating free traffic leads is what you are doing. You can pay an arm and a leg to deliver others to your content, but that is waste of income. Alternatively, you use the content already created for all your social media accounts. The step not to miss out on here is the importance of backlinks. A backlink allows everyone who appreciate your content a place to go to learn more. You may have built a body of knowledge that others have not heard about. Thus, not linking content towards your website, blog, video, newsletters, or adobe file that you have created could be hurting your brand.

“Traffic will exist twofold”

Let’s assume an audience has really bought into your brand. Keeping the environment of each place similar will benefit your audience. Traffic will exist twofold. There are links linking to a blog or website. There are also links that should link to your social media accounts. It is pretty much as simple as that, but where the strategy is delivered will be the most fun.

Are you being social with your audience? The interaction between your brand and audience is definitely there. The only thing missing is the ability to create constant interaction. Give them all something to think about. What your audience members really to know is why your brand is so important. Let’s do this through social media. Attempt to ask questions that will deliver conversations on your social media post. The insight you company is looking for will be in these post talks. This is value information that most companies normally pay for. Options are numerous on how to interact with your audience. To name a few you can create polls, your own hash tag, giveaways, and picture parties. Pictures parties are great. This is when you have people who purchase your product post pictures of them holding the product on their social media accounts.

The sky is the limit. The idea behind social media management is to develop you very own strategy to Interact with the followers of your brand. Done wisely the help of social media will deliver more individuals that have a need for your services. I did not forget to mention programs like Hootsuite that are designed to schedule how you post your campaigns to social media accounts. I just believe that this a more advance method of social media management. Mastering the basic is more important. The book is to teach how to understand how you are using your online presence.
